Don’t forget, this weekend is the Bite of Bend, in downtown Bend. Live music, food, etc. Today’s Go Magazine in the Bulletin has a map of which streets will be closed downtown; it’s not online though. Thinking about the Bulletin’s article yesterday about the collapse of the local real estate market, I just thought I’d share than on the half-mile or so drive through the neighborhood (after leaving the "main" road) to my house, I count 16 "For Sale" signs. That’s just crazy.
