There are three free recycling days coming up in the next three months out at Knott Landfill:

• Appliances, Saturday, August 18th
• Tires, Saturday, September 15th
• Computers, Saturday, October 20th

These are definitely good opportunities to get rid of stuff for free, all you have to do is get it there. It’s a good deal; I can’t speak for appliances or tires, but I know computer recycling costs 30 cents per pound, minimum of $3. If you’ve got a bunch of that stuff, it adds up quick.
