The Deschutes County Fair is in full swing right now (July 30th through August 3rd), and today (Friday) is free admission day until 3 pm if you have the coupon from the Bulletin. (The coupon is good for one admission.)

The coupon first appeared in the Fair Guidebook from the Bulletin, which was released July 23rd—but never fear, there's another coupon in today's paper, on the back page of the Sports section.

So get moving! There's only about 4 hours left to get in free.

The August COWPU meeting is taking place tonight, the 1st, but it's not the usual type of meeting:

Enjoy a laid back evening at the ball park with the COWPU crew (and maybe some of our friends from BendTech, WoTech, and COISUG). Bring your family, friends, or anyone else you want to cheer, chicken-dance, and do the YMCA with. This will be a great chance to network and enjoy the laid-back fun at the game!

It starts at 6:30, and there will be beer involved.
