A new year and looking back at the January ’08 retrospective, it just doesn’t seem that long ago somehow (even though it was a full year!). Anyone else feeling the same way?

In 2008:

• The Source started their Light Meter to run community-submitted photos
• Three Creeks Brewing in Sisters broke ground
• Bend WebCon2 was held at the end of the month
• Hints on where to find Deschutes’ The Abyss
• The Decoy Bar & Grill opened up, with a review here
• Discovering that the Bend City Council posts MP3s of all their meetings online
• The Bulletin was rumored to open up their E-Edition (but only to subscribers)
