Weekend happenings
Not a whole lot on the radar for happenings during the middle of winter, but a couple of things caught my eye that seemed worth mentioning.
This Saturday is Deschutes Brewery’s annual Crabfest (their 7th) taking place at their Mountain Room. I don’t know if there are any reservations left this late in the week but if you’re interested, call 385-8606 and find out. $75 per person.

Couldn’t get into the High Desert Free day today, there was a line of about 50-60 cars in line filling the driveway and the turn lane on 97 north. They had the lot blocked and directed us to go back out the driveway…free day has gotten too popular or there isn’t much to do with little ones in this town! I think a combination of both. Since we didn’t dress to be outdoors for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, we just headed to the library, luckily at 21 months our little girl didn’t know any different, it was an outing.
