Kind of funny that I mentioned Riverside Market a couple of weeks ago, and now I get a press release-type email from them: they’re under new owners and are having a grand re-opening party July 3.
Jon and Melanie Gaipo are the proud new owners of your favorite neighborhood gathering place and they want to introduce themselves. The grand re-opening party will feature fellow newcomers and kindred spirits Boneyard Beer, live music and free hot dogs. Stop by before or after your float to fill up on the above items, or air for your inner tube. The Gaipos are excited to get to know the community and kick summer off the right way, now that it’s finally here. Meet your posse and make a plan of attack for the Freedom Ride while enjoying Boneyard’s Black 13 or Girl Beer (not just for girls by the way). The Market will be open the regular hours and the full menu will be available all day if hot dogs are not enough to fill you up. Come on down and check out the changes that have been made and that are in the works! The event will also be a fundraiser for the Miller’s Landing Park Project.
