Last week I was invited along with a host of other local media folks to Deschutes Brewery for a VIP tour and special tasting. I wrote up an account of the event over at one of my other blogs here; it’s pretty beer-specific but if you’re interested in some of the things Deschutes is brewing up, or some behind-the-scenes info on their brewing processes, you might find it worth a read.
The big concerts this weekend are at the Les Schwab Amphitheater: first, Friday the 27th is possibly one of the biggest concerts the Les Schwab has ever seen in Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp.
