Looking for things to do this Friday night? There are of course a number of New Year’s Eve options around the area (updated, below):

McMenamins Old St. Francis School is featuring live music and special overnight packages (which look to be sold out). Starting at 9pm, the Moon Mountain Ramblers will be playing in the Theater for $10, and in Father Luke’s Room, Jukebot! will be performing for free.

Silver Moon Brewing is having their New Year’s Eve party with live music from both The River Pigs and The Prairie Rockets. The show starts at 9pm and it’s a $10 cover.

The Oxford Hotel downtown is calling their party “Rock the Ox!” which runs from 8:30 to 12:30 and will have champagne, appetizers, and dancing. The cost is $35 (plus a processing fee) and tickets can be purchased on bendticket.com. (This is a 21-and-older party.)

5 Fusion Sushi Bar is having a New Year’s Eve “Pre-Fixe Dinner” (sic) that looks to be seven courses plus a bottle of champagne for $50. They’ll also have a happy hour menu available from 3 to 5, and 9 to close on the 31st.

Common Table is holding their own prix fixe New Year’s Eve meal: $35 for a three-course meal with dessert. Live music will be provided by Ryan Adams from 8:30 until 10:30, and you’ll need reservations.

The Blacksmith is holding a New Year’s Eve party with VIP passes for $25 that will give you private seating and cocktail service, party favors, free passed appetizers and complementary sparkling wine for the midnight toast. There will also a DJ spinning music for the dance floor.
