This coming Saturday, January 15th, is the (quarterly) Friends of the Bend Library Winter Book Sale: from 10am until 4pm at the Library Administration Building at 507 NW Wall downtown, there will be thousands of books (as well as CDs and movies) on sale at great prices. (The Library hasn’t been updating their calendar with these sales of late, so hat tip to KTVZ Community Calendar for listing this.)

Book prices are something like $1 each (on average), though special collection items and first editions do cost more.
