Dinner for Japanese Relief at Common Table

This Sunday, April 3rd, Common Table is hosting a Dinner for Japanese Relief from 5:30 to 8pm. Proceeds from the dinner will go to Red Cross and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and Common Table is accepting donations which will go toward those funds as well. The cost of the dinner is $20 for adults and $8 for children. Cheers to Bourbon Street!

Last Friday a few girlfriends wanted to go out for oysters and champagne. Decadent, no? We tried 10 Below but they couldn’t seat us so we went across the street to Bourbon Street. Spring library book sale

Even though it seems as though the last Friends of the Bend Library book sale was fairly recent (in fact it was mid-January), their spring sale is coming up this Saturday, April 2nd. The new eastside Library is open

The new east branch of the Deschutes Public Library officially opened today, in their new space in Borden’s Corner at Highway 20 and Dean Swift Road. Good news for the eastside!
