Summer Music Guide

Ben Salmon over on his Frequency Blog has posted a fantastic guide to this summer’s music, organized by venue/event and date. I count at least 48 shows without even considering the events, which almost always have multiple artists playing; and there will be more. Ben writes:

I know there are a few things missing from this list. Neither the Deschutes County Fair’s music lineup nor the Munch & Music lineup were ready for publication today. But for the most part, this should be a pretty comprehensive listing of your opportunities to catch live music this summer. If you know of something I’ve missed, feel free to shoot me an email and let me know.

And don’t forget that Death Cab for Cutie and The Decemberists are each playing the Les Schwab Amphitheater this Memorial Day weekend.

  1. Thanks for the link and the kind words, Jon!

The list also doesn’t include things that have yet to be booked/confirmed (obviously) or most local artists’ shows (which would’ve made it 10 times longer). And yeah, I only included headliners on the events/festivals. Each of those will have a bunch more bands playing.

    Summer’s looking … busy!
