Deschutes collaboration beer release party

Down at the Deschutes Pub tomorrow night, the Brewery is featuring the release party for the second in its collaboration series of beers (“Conflux” series), their “White IPA” that they brewed with Boulevard Brewing out of Kansas City, Missouri. This is a pretty big deal because it will be the first time Deschutes has ever had a guest tap at the Pub.

This White IPA dreamed up by Boulevard Brewmaster, Steven Pauwels, and Deschutes Brewery Brewmaster, Larry Sidor is a hoppy wheat ale of sorts and the combination is exquisite! Not only did we use wheat, hops and a Belgian yeast for this brew, we also added lemongrass, whole leaf sage, spicy coriander and sweet orange peel to give it a tongue pleasing twist.

Tuesday is a special night because we will have the Deschutes version and the Boulevard version of this White IPA on tap for a side by side tasting beginning at 5pm. This collaboration brew from Boulevard Brewing is our first ever guest tap! We only have a few kegs so we suggest showing up right at 5 pm to make sure you get a chance to taste both of these tasty brews.

The release party is from 5 to 9 and the Brewery will also feature a Kansas City-inspired menu.
