Thanksgiving dinners

Happy Thanksgiving week! I’m (mostly) taking the week off for the holiday so won’t be blogging much, but I did want to post a list of places to get Thanksgiving dinner if for some reason you aren’t or can’t have it at home this year. Fortunately there are plenty of alternatives.

Have a happy and safe holiday!

It’s that time of year again, and we couldn’t be happier! Join us with your friends and families for a delectable buffet just like Grandma used to make. And you don’t even have to help with the dishes afterwards.

The Bend Community Center is apparently offering Free Thanksgiving Dinner (though that link is based on a forum post and BCC doesn’t list it directly on their site):

Bend’s Community Center will host free meals to the community on Thanksgiving Day. A hot breakfast will be offered from 8:30am – 11:30am and will include: pancakes, syrup, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages and an assortment of fresh fruits, beverages, cold cereals, and pastries.

A traditional holiday dinner will be offered from noon – 4pm and will consist of: full salad bar, rolls, butter, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, hot vegetables, roasted turkey, baked ham, cranberry sauce, fresh fruit salad, beverages and desserts.

Attendance for the Thanksgiving day meals is expected to be approximately 500-600 people throughout the day, and there are no restrictions or qualifications, all are welcome at no charge.
