Today is the Deschutes Public Library’s “Friends of the Bend Library” Holiday Book Sale: it takes place at the downtown Administration building basement at 507 NW Wall, from 10am to 4pm. (The follow-up sale also takes place on Sunday from 1 to 4.)
I’ve said it before, but the Library sales are awesome, there are always good deals to be found—people walk out of there with boxes full of books, and I think I always find at least one or two books to buy. You’ll pay no more than a buck or two per book (unless buying from the special collection stuff) and there are tables full of free books as well up on the sidewalk in front of the building.
Make a morning of it! Hit the Book Sale and then the Christmas Parade!
