For the first time ever, the Bend Christmas Parade is canceled this year, due to the cold. I’m lifting this from KTVZ’s Facebook post of just a few minutes ago, so it’s breaking:

BREAKING NEWS: From Downtowners’ Chuck Arnold: Due to extreme cold conditions, #inBend Christmas Parade canceled for first time #KTVZ

The Parade was scheduled for tomorrow at noon, but with temperatures in or near the single digits and the snow still coming down. (And predicted to only be 10 degrees tomorrow.)

I haven’t heard a status on First Friday tonight…
