Because you can never have enough books—this weekend is the Friends of the Bend Library Winter Book Sale, taking place from 11am to 4pm today and then the Bag Sale tomorrow from 1 to 4pm. (Today’s sale actually started at 9am—for Friends of the Library only.)

There are great deals to be had on books (as well as music and movies) and proceeds go to benefit the Library. The sale is taking place in the basement of the Library Administration Building, at 507 NW Wall St. (across from the Boys & Girls Club).
