Pics from Sunday’s Scott Weiland concert

It was a bit last minute but we got into the Scott Weiland concert at the Century Center Sunday night, the first show of 92.9 FM’s Toyota of Bend Summer Concert Series, and snapped a bunch of pictures (some of which went on the new Instagram feed). Overall it was a great night for a concert, comfortably cool with no rain, and the Century Center venue makes for a good space for music—smaller, more intimate, but the acoustics are good considering three sides around the state are concrete and brick.

Here are the pics posted to Instagram:

All in all a pretty good show; they covered Stone Temple Pilots songs, of course, but no Velvet Revolver. A few rough moments—let’s face it, Weiland has had more than a few years of hard livin’ and from what I hear his 2008 show with STP was, er, very rough—but they worked it out.

And, the other shows that will be playing for this Summer Concert Series are Ziggy Marley on August 11, and Social Distortion on September 7.
