FIRST LEGO League (Lego Robotics) Coach Workshops

The Summer 2017 Lego Robotics coach workshop schedule has been finalized. These workshops are for adult coaches and mentors of FIRST Lego League (FLL) Robotics teams. They help you understand the various aspects of running a team, as well as get your hands on a new EV3 robot. We provide the robots and computers so you will get to try your hand a building and programming a robot to do some common tasks. This will help you with skills that you can pass on to your team, as well as help demystify the robot operation, so when your team runs into problems you will be better equipped to help them.
These workshops are geared for potential, new, and seasoned coaches and they are all FREE to attend. If someone is simply interested in learning what FLL is all about they can come to the first workshop just to get the introduction – no commitment is required. You will get your hands on the robot in each of the workshops, with the last two spent mostly on the robot itself.
All sessions are Thursday evenings, 6-9 PM:
June 8th –  Workshop I (Introduction)
June 15th – Workshop II (Coaching/Mentoring Techniques)
June 22nd – Workshop III ( Robotics Techniques)
June 29th – Workship IV (Programming)
Location: Mountain View High School C-wing (there will be signs posted directing you to the correct entrance).
