New Allegiant Air flight to Phoenix

The news has been bouncing around today, but the first link I saw today is the Bulletin’s: Redmond to get Phoenix-Mesa flight in October. Allegiant Air announced today that it will begin weekly, nonstop service from Redmond Airport to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, starting Oct. 24. Revere Ave. Parkway ramps closed tomorrow

Jen sent me this heads up about the northbound entrance and exit ramps to the Parkway from Revere Avenue: The northbound on and off ramps at Revere Avenue on the Bend Parkway will be closed Thursday August 7, from 9 am to 1 pm. ODOT crews are performing routine bridge maintenance. Southbound ramps should be fine.

New Bend-La Pine shuttle starting Monday

There is a new transit shuttle route being offered by the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council between Bend and La Pine that goes into effect this Monday the 4th. Northside notes

Just a couple of quick blurbs about things happening up north, along Empire Avenue. The new Empire Car Wash is open. It’s a full-service car wash and they had an ad in Sunday’s paper for a free wash (good through May, I think).
