Check out BendFood.org for your food needs during the coronavirus lockdown

BendFood.org

(Okay it’s not a “lockdown” really—yet—but you know what I mean.)

A new site and service has been created by Aloha Produce here in town: BendFood.org. Aloha has launched the site as an online food service with curbside pickup.

It’s bulk foods perfect for stocking up; a glance through the online catalog reveals items like 15 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of sugar, a fresh fruit box, five pounds of cheddar, six pounds of chili, and much more. Which makes sense, Aloha was a major restaurant supplier and with restaurants effectively closed due to coronavirus, they have the supplies available.

Which is fantastic. Check out the site and consider stocking up. And a lot of the goods are perishable, in produce, so it may not last too long.
