This is one of those events I didn’t know about until 104.1 FM’s Robin Fox pinged me several times on Twitter about it: Eagle Crest resort is hosting their own Oktoberfest-styled beer fest tomorrow they’ve dubbed “Oktobercrest,” which looks like a pretty cool event, featuring 24 beers on tap, cider and wine, live music, German food, and more.
Here are some details:
Enjoy on tap beers from Deschutes Brewery, Cascade Lakes, Phat Matt’s, Worthy Brewing, GoodLife, Boneyard, Bend Brewing Company, 10 Barrel, McMenamin’s, Three Creeks Brewing, Elysian Brewing, Ayinger Brewery, Spaten Brewery, Paulaner Brewery, Hacker-Pschorr Brewery, and more.
Cider and Wine
Beer not your thing? Enjoy alternate libations from one of our local partners, including cider from Atlas Cider Company and wines from Volcano Vineyards.
Our featured vendors will provide classic German foods, including favorites like bratwursts, potato pancakes and all the right fixins’.
Don’t miss live performances by Grit and Grizzle and Broken Down Guitars.
Test your strength, your skill, and have some fun. Free events include log sawing, grain toss and stein hoisting competitions. Don’t miss the keg-rolling obstacle course and hay rides for our younger guests.
$10 Mugs | $2 Tasting Tokens
Be one of the first 750 guests to enter Oktobercrest and receive a commemorative mug with $10 entry. $2 tasting tokens will also be available for purchase
Definitely should be a fun event especially if you’re starting to think of malty beers and harvest festivals, and it’s all taking place on the north lawn of The Lodge at Eagle Crest Resort.
